Ubuntu Touch for Android
Ubuntu as we all know one of the worlds most famous and powerful operating system, well there is a good news for all Ubuntu fans, Ubuntu is know for android . What if your PC fits into your pocket, well the Ubuntu people that there OS for phones is so fast, interactive, and fun that you will never miss your laptop or PC . Ubuntu for Android enables high-end (multi - core) Android handsets to run Ubuntu . So the users have their holy grail Android os, but when the same handset is connect to a monitor, mouse and keyboard, it becomes a PC that to a fast networking PC. Both Ubuntu and Android access the same mobile address book. So even if the phone is docked, you can view, edit, call, text or email a contact, etc. You can even check their profiles on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and linkedin. There is no Java overhead, but it can support HTML 5 ! It requires a core based on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or any subsequent version. INDIA, 66 million go social?
Social sites users in urban India are estimated to reach 66 million by June 2013 with the rising of availability of affordable smartphones and consequent mobile Internet use, a report said Tuesday.
"The number of social media users in urban India reached 62 million by December 2012 and it is estimated to reach 66 million by June 2013," a report on social media in India by the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) and Indian Market Research Bureau (IMRB) said.
About 74 percent of all active Internet users in urban India use social media.
From the 80 million active Internet users in India, 72 % have accessed one or the other social networking site.
Facebook is the most accessed website with 97 percent of all individuals using it follow Google+ and LinkedIn
"The average time spent by Indian netizens was 29.6 minutes on weekdays as compared to 28.8 minutes on weekend days," the report added.
